Growing up in Southeast Wisconsin in the ‘70s and ‘80s, Milwaukee felt like the center of the universe, a global megalopolis on a gigantic ocean called Lake Michigan. Although my vantage point (and address) is different now, home remains home. And nothing says Milwaukee to me like a cozy neighborhood tavern. So I started drawing those.
